About Cori
Cori is a state and nationally licensed acupuncturist with a passion for wellbeing. She uses Eastern Medicine, ancestral nutrition, and lifestyle coaching to create the foundations for healthy and vital living.
In her practice, she utilizes many modalities including acupuncture, herbal medicine, tuina, moxibusion, fire cupping, health coaching and meditation.
Cori earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in 2015, a four year program, where her training included in-depth study from a Classical perspective, within the lineage taught by Master Jeffrey C. Yuen, an 88th generation Daoist Priest from the Jade Purity School and a 26th generation priest from the Complete Reality School, Dragon Gate Sect.
Prior to Chinese Medicine school, Cori graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Asian Studies from Florida State University in 2009.
My Philosophy
My love has always been for “grandmother medicine”; recalling the wisdom and teachings from our ancestors about the ways that we evolved to live. We are children of the earth, and when we learn to live in harmony with it and with ourselves, we naturally find more balance in our lives and health.
In life, I am an avid student of the universe. I have a passion for dancing, creative endeavors, cooking, and having adventures with my loved ones.
